Ultrasound is a therapeutic modality that provides deep heating to soft tissues in the body via an ultrasound wand and smooth gel. The result of this therapy is a pain-relieving sensation deep within tissue fibres. The ultrasound intensity can also be adjusted depending on a patient-to-patient basis.
